I feel that for my first look, for what I wanted to create it went quite well. This is where I wanted my model, Lauren, to represent clearly Daisy's smug side because at the end of the day, she was quite the bitch. Like I have previously stated in my blog, I wanted to capture the emotion of Daisy being content and smug about life because she had 2 men madly in love with her and she has everything she ever wanted. The main thing about this image that I think worked well is Lauren's right eyebrow being slightly raised, to show 'HA!', I have everything and a perfect life. With the strong eye contact into the lense as well makes the image quite strong as I think with this sort of image and the message I was trying to get across this is a strong factor.
The main thing that didnt go according to plan was the fact that this was meant to be my full length shot. When it came down to the actual shoot, positioning Lauren and getting her to stand up and looking at the pictures after, none of the images worked due to composition and lack of structure. From this I have learnt to do atleast 1 test shoot before my actual shot to learn these sorts of errors. I feel as if this will be considered when it comes down to grading my work as I did not meet the criteria of a full length shot but I have learnt for future shoots.
