Charles David jumps into the spring with its latest ad campaign starring Luisa Bianchin, photographed by Francesco Carrozzini. Luisa wears the spring collection which was inspired by The Great Gatsby's Daisy Buchanan. The main thing I like about this collection is the modern twist on the traditional look. Even down to the hair and the way the model is positioned, these would not necessarily be referenced to 1920s. This is something that I find quite interesting, as these aspects are something that I shall keep in mind when it comes to my final shoots. I think the scheme of this shoot, as seen in the image below, is quite appealing as the colours are quite neutral and blend together with the background and the outfits. Where as the 1920s were known for there bold, rich colours, this collection brings a contemporary feel with the colours and the styling.
